Israel and the war in Iraq

The growing anxiety of the Israeli government will have its impact on the pre-electoral political technologies in Russia.
During the first stage of the military operation (before the beginning of the battle itself), Israel planned to provoke a consolidated movement of the whole Arabian world against the USA, by taking, in spite of the Washington's position, a demonstrative part in the surface operation. Besides, there was a possibility, that Israel would use nuclear weapons, making the Americans hostages and participators of a war crime.

The police of Hevron cooperates with Arabs and takes actions against Jews

As the agency "Kol Rina" says, there has been spotted coordinated actions between the police of Hevron and the local Arabs, living near the "height-25", from where the family of the deceased Nethanel Ozeri was banished earlier, during the week. As it was found out the police asked the Arabs to observe the height and send a message to you-know-where as soon as the Jews will try to get back to the hill or build anything there.

Local authorities go on strike.

The local authorities trade union declared, that on Tuesday it is going on strike. The participants will be the technical workers of schools, cleaners and other municipality workers. According to the chairman of "Gistadrut" Amir Perez, one should be aware of strikes in other trends during the closest days.

В Германию из Ирака прибыл первый самолет с гробами американцев

Первые гробы с останками убитых в Ираке американских солдат прибыли на американскую авиабазу Рамштайн в Германии. Как сообщило агентство ДПА со ссылкой на пресс-секретаря американских вооруженных сил, база является промежуточной остановкой на пути в США. Пресс-секретарь отказалась назвать число доставленных гробов.

Those were the following: Leonid Macih (pro-rector of the ISU) - "Book about the Jewish culture", Vitaliy Tihiy (CEC) - "The Arabian-Israeli conflict - reasons, present state and predictions", Vyacheslav Lihachev - "Anti-Semitism in the modern world", Valeriy Pikalov (KNU) - "History of the Ukrainian Jews at the beginning of the New Time", Pinhas Polonskiy (Jerusalem), Konstantin Bondar (ISU, Kharkov) - "Jewish-Slavic cultural contacts", Sergei Litovchenko (ISU, Kharkov) - "Jews and the Roman Republic", Victoria Omel'yanenko - "Jewish artistic culture at the European continent", Katherine Nudelman (ISU, Kharkov) - "Jews in the Western European art in the middle ages", Diana Mikhailova (ISU, Kharkov) - "Hazars. The story of turning into Judaism."

There also was a common lecture "The tale of the conflict among brothers in The Genesis" and a conversation on the topic "Jews and the peoples of the world: confrontation and cooperation", monitored by Iliya Dvorkin, Jerusalem.
